I was blessed to show some pieces in the Selam Visual Arts Festival at The Gladstone Hotel in Toronto this past weekend. It was a two day exhibit of Ethiopian and Eritrean artists that drew awareness to HIV/Aids issues in our communities. It was an amazing showcase of talented established and up-and-coming Ethiopian and Eritrean artists and it was truly inspirational to see and be a part of.
I took some pictures of some of the other artist's works there as well, but my camera battery was dying so I missed a lot of good stuff...I also failed to note the names of the pieces, but I still thought these were cool....
