Diaspora I

This is part of an ongoing series I am working on called 'I n Eye' meant to explore concepts of shared identity within a diaspora community. By combining sets of smaller diptych and triptych canvases of faces designed to connect interchangeably, I will create digital collages of repeating patterns which depending on the combination will create new, unintended faces. The pattern's regularity will be interrupted by the unexpected combinations. The original canvases will be kept for a final exhibition, but the digital collages will be available as poster prints very soon...stay tuned!
