BlakCollectiv and spoken word poet, Brandon Wint, present: Artivism.
Artivism is an event dedicated to fostering a discussion of the critical consciousness that comes with the intersection of Black artistry and activism.
The first part of the event will feature performances from a variety of artists.
The second part of the event will be a moderated discussion which will examine the political challenges faced by Black people as well as Black artists, and how art is used to speak about and fight against oppression.
