I recently completed another collaborative mural residency with N'we Jinan Arts in the beautiful central-coast island community of Klemtu, BC. This is Kitasoo/Xai'xais territory in the heart of the Great Bear Rainforest and one of the only places to have such a high concentration of the legendary white Spirit Bears. Working with the students of Kitasoo Community School along with local artist Jeff Robinson and elder and storyteller Chief Charlie Mason, we brought together local stories, history and symbolism to create a collaborative mural that the school and community could be proud of.
